Bambloo Terms of Service

These Terms of Service, together with any additional terms, rules, policies, or guidelines we provide within the Bambloo app or website, govern your access to and use of Bambloo.
For purposes of these Terms, “Bambloo,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to [Legal Entity Name], doing business as Bambloo. “You” and “your” refer to any person who accesses or uses Bambloo.
Bambloo is a real-world adventure app that allows users to discover local quests, complete missions, earn XP, coins, badges, and other in-app rewards, customize an avatar, and interact with friends or other users through social and community features.
By accessing or using Bambloo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use Bambloo.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Bambloo.
If you are under the age of majority in your state, province, or country, you may use Bambloo only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using Bambloo, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Bambloo is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without required parental consent, we may delete that information and terminate the account.
We may refuse access, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts at any time if we believe a user does not meet these eligibility requirements or has violated these Terms.
2. Your Account
To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
You may not:
- Create an account using false, misleading, or unauthorized information.
- Impersonate another person or organization.
- Use another user’s account without permission.
- Sell, transfer, license, or assign your account to another person.
- Create multiple accounts to abuse rewards, rankings, referrals, quests, or other features.
We may reclaim or change usernames, display names, or profile identifiers if we believe they violate these Terms, infringe rights, mislead users, or harm Bambloo.
3. Description of Bambloo
Bambloo may provide features such as:
- Location-based quests and missions.
- Map-based discovery of places, parks, trails, landmarks, businesses, or community locations.
- XP, coins, streaks, badges, rankings, achievements, and levels.
- Avatar customization and virtual items.
- Friend lists, leaderboards, activity feeds, comments, reactions, messages, or other social features.
- Photo, video, text, check-in, GPS, QR code, or other proof submission features.
- Promotional quests, sponsored quests, community missions, or limited-time events.
- Notifications, reminders, and updates related to quests, rewards, friends, or account activity.
We may add, change, remove, pause, or discontinue any part of Bambloo at any time. We do not guarantee that any feature, quest, reward, location, leaderboard, or promotional event will remain available.
4. Real-World Quest Safety
Bambloo includes real-world exploration features. You are solely responsible for your safety and behavior while using Bambloo.
You agree to:
- Obey all laws, rules, signs, and instructions.
- Respect public and private property.
- Avoid trespassing.
- Avoid unsafe areas or unsafe conditions.
- Use caution near roads, trails, water, wildlife, construction, traffic, weather hazards, or unfamiliar places.
- Avoid using Bambloo while driving, biking, crossing streets, operating machinery, or engaging in any activity that requires attention.
- Get appropriate permission before entering private property, businesses, restricted areas, schools, residences, events, or paid locations.
- Stop using Bambloo if conditions become unsafe.
Bambloo does not guarantee that any location is safe, legal to access, open, accessible, suitable, accurate, or appropriate for you. Quest locations may change, close, become restricted, become unsafe, or become unavailable without notice.
You accept all risks associated with visiting real-world locations and participating in quests, missions, challenges, events, or activities. Bambloo is not responsible for injuries, losses, property damage, tickets, fines, disputes, accidents, or other harm arising from your real-world actions.
If a quest appears unsafe, illegal, inaccurate, inappropriate, closed, inaccessible, or on private property, do not complete it. Report it to us at [support email].
5. Location Features
Bambloo may use device location, GPS, proximity signals, map data, check-ins, timestamps, photos, QR codes, or other signals to provide quests, verify submissions, prevent fraud, personalize experiences, and support app functionality.
Location-based features may not always be accurate. GPS, device sensors, maps, internet connection, weather, buildings, terrain, or third-party systems may affect accuracy.
You can control certain location permissions through your device settings. If location permissions are disabled, some Bambloo features may not work properly.
You agree not to spoof, fake, manipulate, alter, or interfere with location data, device signals, timestamps, proof submissions, QR codes, quest completion systems, or reward systems.
6. Quests, Missions, and Proof Submissions
Bambloo may allow you to complete quests or missions by submitting proof, such as photos, videos, written answers, GPS check-ins, QR scans, prompts, or other activity.
By submitting proof, you represent that:
- The submission is accurate and truthful.
- You completed the quest according to the rules shown in the app.
- You did not trespass, break the law, or violate any third-party rights.
- You have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content.
- Your submission does not include prohibited content under these Terms.
We may approve, reject, review, delay, reverse, or remove quest completions and rewards if we believe a submission is false, incomplete, unsafe, fraudulent, abusive, inappropriate, or in violation of these Terms.
Quest rules may vary. Some quests may require location access, photos, review, manual approval, limited availability, eligibility conditions, or additional rules.
Completing a quest does not guarantee any specific reward unless expressly stated in the app and confirmed by Bambloo.
7. Rewards, XP, Coins, Badges, Streaks, and Virtual Items
Bambloo may offer XP, coins, badges, streaks, achievements, avatar items, rankings, or other virtual rewards.
Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing:
- Rewards are for entertainment and in-app use only.
- Rewards have no cash value.
- Rewards are not money, currency, stored value, cryptocurrency, gift cards, securities, or financial instruments.
- Rewards cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Rewards cannot be sold, transferred, traded, exchanged, or assigned outside Bambloo.
- Rewards do not create property rights.
- Rewards may expire, change, reset, be removed, or become unavailable.
- We may correct reward balances, reverse rewards, or remove rewards issued by mistake, fraud, abuse, technical error, or violation of these Terms.
We may change the value, availability, design, name, rules, or requirements for XP, coins, badges, items, levels, streaks, leaderboards, and other rewards at any time.
If Bambloo offers real-world prizes, discounts, sponsored rewards, contests, sweepstakes, giveaways, or merchant promotions, those may be subject to separate terms, eligibility rules, expiration dates, availability limits, and legal requirements.
8. Leaderboards and Rankings
Bambloo may display leaderboards, rankings, friend activity, achievements, quest completions, streaks, XP, coins, badges, usernames, avatars, or other profile information.
Leaderboards are for entertainment and community engagement. Rankings may change, reset, be delayed, contain errors, or be adjusted to address cheating, fraud, abuse, technical issues, or rule violations.
We may remove users from leaderboards, reset progress, revoke rewards, or suspend accounts if we believe a user has manipulated or abused the system.
9. Social and Community Features
Bambloo may include social features, including friend lists, public profiles, activity feeds, comments, reactions, invitations, groups, leaderboards, or other community features.
You are responsible for your interactions with other users. We do not guarantee the identity, conduct, safety, intentions, or statements of any user.
You agree not to share sensitive personal information publicly, including your home address, school address, exact live location, private contact information, financial information, identification documents, or other information that could create a safety risk.
If you meet or interact with another user in real life, you do so at your own risk. Bambloo does not supervise user meetings or offline interactions.
We may provide blocking, reporting, moderation, or privacy controls, but we do not guarantee that all harmful content or behavior will be detected or removed.
10. User Content
“User Content” means any content you submit, upload, post, send, display, or make available through Bambloo, including photos, videos, text, quest proof, comments, profile information, usernames, avatars, messages, reactions, reports, reviews, feedback, and other materials.
You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the license you grant us below.
You grant Bambloo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, distribute, perform, create derivative works from, and otherwise use your User Content for the purpose of operating, improving, promoting, moderating, securing, and providing Bambloo.
This license includes the right to use User Content to:
- Display quest completions.
- Show profile activity, leaderboards, and social feeds.
- Review and moderate submissions.
- Verify quest completion.
- Prevent fraud and abuse.
- Improve app features.
- Promote Bambloo, unless prohibited by law or your applicable privacy settings.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate these Terms, any law, or any third-party rights.
We may remove, hide, restrict, review, or refuse User Content at any time if we believe it violates these Terms, creates risk, harms users, infringes rights, or is otherwise inappropriate.
11. Prohibited Content
You may not submit, post, upload, transmit, or share User Content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, hateful, violent, obscene, sexually explicit, exploitative, or discriminatory.
- Promotes self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, dangerous behavior, or physical harm.
- Targets, bullies, harasses, or threatens another person.
- Reveals another person’s private information without permission.
- Contains nudity, sexual content, or sexually suggestive content involving minors.
- Exploits or endangers children.
- Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, criminal activity, vandalism, trespassing, theft, or evasion of law enforcement.
- Infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights.
- Contains spam, scams, phishing, malware, deceptive links, or harmful code.
- Misrepresents quest completion or proof.
- Encourages unsafe real-world behavior.
- Is otherwise objectionable or inconsistent with the purpose of Bambloo.
We may report unlawful or dangerous content to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.
12. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Violate any law, regulation, contract, or third-party right.
- Use Bambloo for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
- Trespass or encourage trespassing.
- Damage, disturb, or interfere with public property, private property, wildlife, businesses, landmarks, parks, trails, or other locations.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, impersonate, or harm another person.
- Cheat, exploit, manipulate, automate, or abuse quests, XP, coins, streaks, rewards, referrals, rankings, or leaderboards.
- Use bots, scripts, emulators, automation, fake GPS tools, spoofing tools, macros, scraping tools, or unauthorized software.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, copy, modify, or create derivative works of Bambloo except as allowed by law.
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, attack, probe, scan, or test Bambloo’s systems or security.
- Access or attempt to access another user’s account.
- Collect, scrape, harvest, or use information about other users without permission.
- Circumvent any access restriction, security measure, moderation system, payment system, reward system, or technical protection.
- Upload malware, spyware, viruses, harmful code, or deceptive links.
- Use Bambloo to advertise, solicit, sell, or promote products or services without our permission.
- Abuse support, reporting, appeals, or moderation systems.
- Use Bambloo in a way that harms Bambloo, users, partners, merchants, locations, or the public.
Violation of this section may result in account suspension, reward removal, content removal, termination, reporting to authorities, or other action.
13. Sponsored Quests, Merchants, and Third-Party Locations
Bambloo may include quests, rewards, offers, promotions, or content involving third-party businesses, organizations, parks, venues, sponsors, advertisers, merchants, or community partners.
Unless expressly stated, Bambloo does not own, control, operate, or endorse third-party locations, businesses, products, services, events, offers, or content.
Third-party promotions may be subject to separate terms, eligibility rules, expiration dates, restrictions, availability limits, and redemption requirements. Bambloo is not responsible for third-party actions, omissions, quality, safety, availability, pricing, policies, disputes, or fulfillment.
You are responsible for complying with any rules, instructions, fees, hours, safety requirements, or access restrictions at third-party locations.
14. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Payments
Bambloo may offer paid features, subscriptions, digital items, premium content, coins, avatar items, promotional features, or other purchases.
If purchases are offered through Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, or another payment provider, your purchase may also be governed by that provider’s terms, payment rules, refund rules, and subscription management settings.
Unless otherwise required by law or stated in the app:
- Purchases are final and non-refundable.
- Digital items and virtual rewards have no cash value.
- We may change prices, features, and availability at any time.
- You are responsible for applicable taxes, carrier charges, data charges, and payment provider fees.
- Subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds may need to be managed through the platform where you purchased the subscription.
If a payment fails, is reversed, is fraudulent, or is charged back, we may suspend or limit access to paid features or associated rewards.
15. App Stores and Platform Terms
If you download Bambloo through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app store, your use of Bambloo may also be subject to that platform’s terms and policies.
The app store provider is not responsible for Bambloo, our content, our services, user support, claims, investigations, warranties, or legal compliance, except as required by that provider’s own terms or applicable law.
You agree to comply with all applicable app store, device, operating system, and mobile carrier terms when using Bambloo.
16. Notifications and Communications
Bambloo may send you service-related messages, emails, push notifications, in-app messages, SMS messages, or other communications related to your account, quests, rewards, safety, friends, updates, support, promotions, or changes to our terms.
You can control certain communications through your device settings, app settings, or unsubscribe options where available. Some service-related communications may be necessary to operate Bambloo and may not be fully disabled while your account remains active.
You agree that any notices, agreements, disclosures, or other communications we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
17. Privacy
Your use of Bambloo is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information.
By using Bambloo, you acknowledge that we may collect and use information as described in the Privacy Policy, including information related to your account, device, app activity, location settings, quest participation, proof submissions, rewards, and social features.
You should review the Privacy Policy carefully before using Bambloo.
18. Intellectual Property
Bambloo and its content, features, design, software, code, graphics, illustrations, logos, icons, mascots, characters, avatars, badges, quest systems, rewards, text, branding, trademarks, and other materials are owned by Bambloo or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, license, exploit, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Bambloo or our materials unless we give you written permission or the law allows it.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Bambloo for its intended purpose.
We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
19. Bambloo Mascots, Avatars, and Brand Assets
Bambloo may include bear-style avatars, mascot characters, badges, coins, XP icons, illustrations, interface designs, and other brand assets.
You may use these assets only inside Bambloo as permitted by the app. You may not use Bambloo’s name, logo, mascot, avatar designs, badges, icons, or other brand assets for commercial purposes, merchandise, advertising, impersonation, competing services, or public branding without our written permission.
Customizing an avatar or earning a badge does not give you ownership of Bambloo’s underlying artwork, designs, characters, or intellectual property.
20. Feedback and Suggestions
If you send us ideas, suggestions, bug reports, feature requests, concepts, designs, names, improvements, or other feedback, you grant Bambloo the unrestricted right to use, modify, publish, commercialize, and otherwise exploit that feedback without compensation, credit, or obligation to you.
You agree that we are not required to treat feedback as confidential.
21. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on Bambloo infringes your copyright, you may send a notice to our designated copyright contact.

- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.

We may remove or disable access to content alleged to infringe and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate.
22. Reporting and Moderation
You may report content, users, quests, locations, safety concerns, abuse, fraud, or violations of these Terms by using in-app tools or contacting us at [support email].
We may review reports, remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, revoke rewards, disable quests, block users, or take other action at our discretion.
We are not obligated to monitor all content or activity. We do not guarantee that moderation will be immediate, complete, accurate, or error-free.

23. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access to Bambloo at any time if we believe:
- You violated these Terms.
- You created risk or potential legal exposure.
- You harmed or may harm Bambloo, users, partners, merchants, locations, or the public.
- Your account was involved in fraud, abuse, cheating, harassment, spam, unauthorized access, or suspicious activity.
- We are required to do so by law, platform policy, or security needs.
- Continuing to provide access is no longer commercially or technically feasible.
Upon suspension or termination, you may lose access to your account, profile, progress, quests, rewards, XP, coins, badges, streaks, avatar items, purchases, and User Content.
You may stop using Bambloo at any time. You may request account deletion by contacting us at [support email] or using account deletion tools if available.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions relating to intellectual property, User Content licenses, rewards, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, disputes, and governing law.
24. Updates and Changes to Bambloo
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue Bambloo at any time, including features, quests, maps, rewards, coins, XP, badges, leaderboards, avatars, social features, pricing, availability, and technical requirements.
We may release updates that you must install to continue using Bambloo. We are not responsible if you cannot use Bambloo because your device, operating system, network, app version, or settings are unsupported or outdated.
Bambloo may contain bugs, errors, outages, delays, interruptions, or inaccuracies. We may correct errors at any time, including errors related to rewards, quest completion, balances, prices, rankings, or availability.
25. Third-Party Services and Links
Bambloo may integrate with or link to third-party services, websites, maps, analytics providers, app stores, payment processors, social platforms, communication services, cloud providers, merchants, sponsors, or other third parties.
We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, policies, availability, security, accuracy, practices, or actions.
Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
26. No Emergency, Navigation, Health, or Professional Advice
Bambloo is not an emergency service, safety service, navigation service, transportation service, health service, legal service, or professional advice service.
Do not rely on Bambloo to determine whether a location is safe, accessible, legal, open, supervised, or suitable. Always use your own judgment and follow real-world conditions, laws, posted signs, and instructions from property owners or authorities.
If you are in danger or need emergency help, contact emergency services immediately.
27. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bambloo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, reliability, and uninterrupted operation.
We do not warrant that:
- Bambloo will be available at all times.
- Bambloo will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
- Quest locations, maps, directions, distances, hours, or descriptions will be accurate.
- Rewards, XP, coins, badges, streaks, or rankings will always be correct.
- User Content will be accurate, safe, or appropriate.
- Other users will behave appropriately.
- Any defect or error will be corrected.
- Bambloo will meet your expectations.
You use Bambloo at your own risk.
28. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bambloo and its owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, licensors, partners, sponsors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, personal injury, property damage, business interruption, or loss of rewards, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bambloo’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or Bambloo will not exceed the greater of:
1. The amount you paid to Bambloo for the service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the claim arose; or
2. One hundred dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
29. Assumption of Risk
You understand and agree that using Bambloo may involve real-world activity and physical movement. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with:
- Visiting locations.
- Completing quests.
- Walking, hiking, driving, biking, or traveling.
- Entering public or private spaces.
- Interacting with people, businesses, users, animals, weather, terrain, roads, trails, water, or other hazards.
- Submitting photos, videos, location data, or other proof.
- Participating in events, promotions, sponsored quests, or community activities.
You are responsible for deciding whether a quest or activity is safe and appropriate for you.
30. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bambloo and its owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, licensors, partners, sponsors, and service providers from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:
- Your use of Bambloo.
- Your User Content.
- Your quest participation or real-world activity.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of law.
- Your violation of another person’s rights.
- Your fraud, misconduct, negligence, or unsafe behavior.
- Your interaction with another user, merchant, sponsor, location, or third party.
We reserve the right to control the defense of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with us.
31. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, website, email, or other reasonable means.
The updated Terms will be effective when posted unless a later date is stated. Your continued use of Bambloo after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using Bambloo.
32. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to Bambloo will be governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
33. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us at [legal/support email] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Your notice should include your name, account information, contact information, a description of the dispute, and the relief you are seeking.
We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days after we receive your notice, either party may pursue available legal remedies, subject to these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and Bambloo agree that any dispute will be brought only on an individual basis and not as part of a class action, collective action, consolidated action, private attorney general action, or representative proceeding.
You and Bambloo each waive the right to a jury trial to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief for misuse of intellectual property, unauthorized access, security issues, or other urgent harm.
34. Geographic Availability
Bambloo may not be available in all locations. We may limit, restrict, or change availability based on region, legal requirements, safety concerns, technical limitations, business decisions, or partner availability.
You are responsible for complying with the laws of the place where you access or use Bambloo.
35. Force Majeure
Bambloo will not be liable for any delay, failure, loss, or damage caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fires, floods, power outages, internet outages, labor disputes, government actions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemics, platform outages, app store issues, third-party service failures, or technical failures.
36. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.
We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, financing, or operation of law.
37. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision will be interpreted to achieve its intended purpose to the greatest extent permitted by law.
38. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.
39. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms or rules we provide for specific features, purchases, quests, promotions, or events, make up the entire agreement between you and Bambloo regarding your use of Bambloo.
